When shit happens, what do you do? Most people blame someone else, or the universe, for their lot. They cry about how life is so unfair and do nothing to change it. They are comfortable in their misery. Their negative thoughts are familiar so they don’t want to question them. They are asleep at the wheel of life, and here’s why…

Your brain is not meant to run the show. It is merely a tool. It’s the steering wheel of your vehicle so to speak. If the vehicle is your body, and your mind is the steering wheel, then you are the driver.

There is a lot you can’t control in your life. For this, you need acceptance, patience, and understanding. There are some things you can control though, like the way you feel, the thoughts you think, and your vibrational frequency. You need discipline, attention, and even more patience if you want to control those, but it’s possible. Maybe your plan is laid out for you by God/Your Higher Self/The Universe, but you’ve still got a choice to make; do you want to follow that plan in a state of misery or joy?

Let’s assume the destination is set, and that’s your destiny or purpose. Now let’s imagine your soul is the GPS in your vehicle of life, and it will get you to your destination no matter what you do. You’re the driver. You’ve still got control of the steering wheel. You can choose to go the boring, miserable route, or you can choose to go the beautiful, fun, scenic route. If you don’t make a choice at all, the GPS is going to choose for you. Why would you choose to be dragged along? You’ve got free will for god’s sake. Start using it. Your subconscious thoughts will steer you in the direction that you have always gone, which will be similar to everyone you have ever known if you don’t start running your mind.

Most of your thoughts have been conditioned into you by other people. They aren’t unique, original thoughts. Guess what this means? Most of your negative programming doesn’t belong to you, and you’re asleep at the wheel. Wake up and cultivate the discipline and patience to study your mind, so you can use it as the powerful tool it is. Make your mind work for you, not against you. Are you with me? You’ve got a choice. How amazing is that?

Shit is gonna happen to you. It’s in the cards. Contrast is part of being human. Pain is an essential part of our experience. How much you get might depend on how your soul designed your life, your soul contracts, your karma in this lifetime, or your destiny. Whatever. BUT WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? I have always had a huge amount of empathy. I’m an emotional being. I’m a life coach and therapist that works with people’s minds and emotions for a living, a 6/2 emotional projector, with cancer sun and moon signs. Emotions are my jam. Connection with others is my life source, so I have empathy if you’re feeling stuck. But I have zero pity for you if you find yourself stuck because you are letting life drag you along and letting your mind run you. As soon as I wake you up to this fact, my empathy subsides and empowerment kicks in. It doesn’t do you any good to feel sorry for yourself. I’m not going to sympathize with all of the reasons you found yourself in the shit. I’m just going to remind you that you have a tool at your disposal that can help you get out of the shit, and never land there again, if you are willing to put some work in. Your mind is your biggest ally. If it’s your enemy, it’s a sign you need to wake up. Be honest with yourself. Are you refusing to do what it takes to change the way your mind has been conditioned to run? Have you bothered to listen to teachers and guides who have studied the mind for years and learned how to reprogramme your mind? You will remain a victim of your life’s circumstances until you own your shit.

Do you wanna know what it takes to be a warrior? Understand that you have no fucking control over anything except your mind. That’s scary. Ok. So what are you gonna do about it?

You were born with the same tools as the next person. My aim is to empower everyone to remember that. It’s up to you to step into the power you were born with. The basis of my work is that I see you, the real you, and I call you out on not using the wealth of wisdom and power you possess, but I can’t do it for you, and I won’t pity you if you want to remain a victim of circumstance. That’s your choice. If you want to do nothing with your brilliant mind, that’s on you. If you don’t want to learn to train it that's fine, but don’t expect to feel ok when shit realllly hits the fan and you have never taken the time to learn coping skills. Don’t blame others for not being your savior, when you failed to care about becoming your own.

You have the power. So go use it. Learn from people who are walking the path you want to walk. Watch people who embody the energy you wish to align yourself with. Listen to them. Ask them questions. Spend time around them. Watch, learn, and study your mind. Get to know yourself. Start to separate what you have been told by others, and what are original ideas and desires. Then, you can stop living your life on autopilot. Only then, you will stop feeling like a victim and start feeling like a warrior.

Then you’re truly awake at the wheel.
